Aluminum alloy Underarm Crutches
Forearm Crutches (Elbow Crutches) mainly made of super quality of aluminum alloy, with the advantage of both light and strong.
Introductions
Top
It's made of raw plastic, has a certain degree of flexibility, high intensity, resistant to impact, not easy to fracture. The outer packing is half-transparent green plastic. Other materials such as wool or leather are also available, while much more expensive than plastic.
Handle and tube
Handle has the same material with top part. It has been improved for many years, and it's supported with one piece of iron rod of 5mm diameter now. The main part of forearm crutch: tube, made of aluminium magnesium alloy. It has high intensity. The surface of tube is durable, not easy to fade. Compared to iron material, it is resistant to rust, and lighter in weight, easy to take. It can reach to 150kg on carrying capacity under normal use.
Lift device
In order to adjust the height of crutch quickly, we use”V" type spring fixed in the take-down tube. The tube can be taken down separately. The spring is made of punched steel plate of 0.5mm thickness. It has high intensity, and not deformation, life-long maintenance for free.
Bottom
The bottom is the biggest pressure point of crutch; it's very easy to destroy during the usage. So it's very common to see that the bottom is exposed after long time pressure, and easy to damage the floor. While our bottom is inlayed a round iron sheet before it becomes formed. The iron sheet is bigger than tube diameter, so that it can prevent the bottom exposure very well, moreover it extends the life of crutch. You can take down the bottom yourself to check it.
